The scorching summer sun makes every step painful for those who walk barefoot. While most of us protect ourselves with footwear, countless underprivileged individuals continue to walk on burning roads every day, risking burns, injuries, and infections.
On 10th May, Hemanand Charitable Trust organised a Slipper Distribution Drive in Khammam to bring comfort and dignity to those in need. Each pair of slippers represented more than just footwear - it was a gesture of compassion, care, and hope.
Serving Humanity, One Step at a Time
Helping someone doesn't always require grand efforts. Sometimes, a simple pair of slippers can protect a person's feet, restore their confidence, and remind them that someone cares.
We sincerely thank every volunteer, supporter, and donor who made this initiative possible. Together, we can continue creating a society where kindness becomes a way of life.
A pair of slippers may seem small to us, but for someone walking barefoot under the blazing sun, it means:
- Protection from the burning roads
- Prevention of injuries and infections
- Comfort during daily travel
- A sense of dignity and care
"When we protect someone's footsteps, we help shape their journey."
